Remember When…

… Republicans used to believe in abolishing the unconstitutional Department of Education?  I sure do, but obvioulsy that’s just a belief held by us “wacko fringe” Republicans who still believe the US Constitution is the rule of law and that our elected officials should take their oath before God serious and strictly adhere to The Oath.

Check out what McCain told the NAACP:

McCain said the point of his education platform was to boost pay for “a great and outstanding teacher like you” and other educators who are passionate about their work.

“I want to reward good teachers,” said McCain.

So you’re probably wondering what’s wrong with rewarding good teachers?  Nothing.  I want good teachers rewarded too, but I’m not running for President of the United States.  Since the federal government should hae no role in the education of its “subjects,” then John McCain should have no say so about what teacher’s make.

But that’s not all the socialist had to say:

John McCain told the NAACP and some skeptical black voters Wednesday that he will expand education opportunities, partly through vouchers for low-income children to attend private school.

Expand education opportunites.  Basically, increase funding to an already wasteful, unconstitutional beauracracy.

Senator McCain, the answer to our educational problems is to completely abolish the Department of Education and get the federal government the hell out of it.

Just more proof that McCain is just another Big Government Socialist Republican.

  1. I remember when Republicans fought against big government. Seems to me that since 9-11, the GOP has thrown the idea out the window. Disgraceful.

  2. Have you seen the Southern Avenger’s most recent post about Mr. McCain?
